1. Why the affiliate experience uses cookies
BlueKiwi may use cookies and similar browser technologies to keep users signed in, protect accounts, remember preferences, understand site performance, prevent abuse, and connect an eligible customer with the partner who referred them.
2. The 60-day attribution window
When referral tracking is enabled, an eligible partner-link click may store an attribution identifier for up to 60 days. The customer must create their BlueKiwi account during that window for the referral to be considered.
3. Most recent eligible link wins
If a prospective customer clicks more than one eligible partner link, the most recent eligible click before account creation receives attribution. A later eligible click may replace an earlier partner's identifier.
4. When attribution may not work
Attribution may be unavailable when cookies are blocked or deleted, links are altered, the customer changes devices or browsers, tracking is prevented by privacy settings, the account is created after 60 days, or the click or account is ineligible under the program terms.
5. Information associated with a referral
Referral records may include the partner identifier, link or campaign name, click time, account-creation event, general device or browser information, subscription eligibility events, and commission status. Partners should receive anonymized status information rather than the referred customer's identity.
6. Cookie controls
Browser settings can block or delete cookies. Doing so may affect sign-in, preferences, security, analytics, or referral attribution. The final notice should identify each production cookie, provider, purpose, and retention period after the tracking implementation is finalized.
